We have all been waiting for this Sunday to come around, since the announcement of the league start date and the constitution was agreed at our virtual SGM on the 1st September 2020; bet you guys can’t wait to get back to playing competitive football again. Thank you to all the secretaries and club officials that spent time filling in the Covid-19 Risk Assessments and
training up Covid-19 officers. Without your co-operation we wouldn’t be kicking off this Sunday. Personally, I would like to welcome the new teams to the league - AFC Wanderers, Broadland United, Dilham Cross Keys, FC Steamers, Hornets, Jubilee, Longham and Norton Athletic - Wishing you all the best and good luck for the season, I hope you enjoy playing in this league.

Unfortunately, no League Cup this season - but certainly looking forward to seeing the competition make a comeback next season. Now Gentlemen and ladies it’s over to you - go out and play the game we all love. But remember although this is a competitive league, respect your opponents at all times. Be competitive - nothing better than a competitive game - but leave it on the pitch. We as a committee really don’t want to have to charge you or see any of you face to face for any silly reasons - Go out and have fun. Finally, as promised I will be making my way round the grounds during the season and will be kicking off by visiting The Recreation Centre to watch Acle Rangers take on Phoenix at home on Sunday. Ben Halls will be making an appearance at The Fountain Ground to watch Marlborough take on MC Rovers. Looking forward to watching some great games, feel free to come and say hello, always happy to hear from players, coaches, managers and secretaries.
