League cup weekend and the games didn’t disappoint. Woolpack hosted Schoolhouse in the clash of the round in a repeat of last weeks County Cup semi finals. This time it was Woolpack who took the spoils (and Schoolhouse saw red) as they ran out 4-1 winners. Horsford also ran out 4-1 winners against Aslacton. Farmhouse couldn’t repeat their recent good league form as they went down 2-1 at Poringland Christopher Lay with both goals. The last remain non prem side are no longer remaining as FC Viking went down 4-1 at home to Phoenix, Matthew Doyle, Shingi Masoha, Laurence Rouse and Tom Rogers scoring.

In league action, just the 1 Prem game as Acle moved 3 points clear at the top with a convincing 7-0 win against Middle Green. Aaron Sanders 4, Nathan Page, Perry Kelf and Thomas Cullumbine with the goals.

The race for the Div 1 title is over. Silver Fox’s 3-0 win over AFC Norwich means they take the title to follow on from last season’s Div 2 title. Goals coming from Haydn Cunningham, Ryan Tebble and Daniel Lawes. DCS Rapid might have just saved themselves from relegation (it helps that Vale Longo are so rubbish), after they scored the odd goal in 7 in beating MC Rovers, Thomas Daynes, Craig Guyton, John Davis and Neal Gardner.

Easton are champions of Div 2. The top 2 played with Easton travelling to Aylsham and the away side blew the home side away with a 5-0 win. Once against Easton’s biggest name player scoring, Marcus Dunthorpe-McInerney 2, along with Ryan Gray, Brannan Solomon and Darrell Wigger bagging the others. Barracks and Norman Wanderers A shared 6 goals in their 3-3 draw. AG Athletic’s recent run of wins (2) came to an end as Acle Reserves ran out 2-1 winners. Harvey Durrant and Brandon Hunt with the goals.

Div 3 Champions elect (still a few games to go and they could throw it away), Moose Park Rangers, struggled against bottom side FC Viking Reserves but came out 2-1 winners. Earsham remain in 2nd place after scoring 10 against Woodton, hattricks for Ryan Jones and Ashley Varley, a brace from Dan Smith and further strikes from Jordan Miles and Tom Greenhill. William IV remain in 3rd after their 3-1 win against Cellar House, Connor Delaney, Kieran Delaney and Jack Mason all scoring in the 90th minute (according to Full Time). A hattrick from James Bemrose along with goal from Chris Bartram, James Daniels and Adam Race saw 4th place Long Stratton win 6-1 at Eaton Park Corinthians. Old Catton had goals from Luke Graver 4, Zak Mills, Jack Nunn and Lewis Render in their 7-0 win over Sporting Rackheath.

There we 13 goals in the Div 4 game between Tavern Old Boys and Sprowston Rovers with Tavern scoring 10 of them, Nathan Bailey 4, Stephen Jones 3, Jay Tiplady and Jonathan Reeve scoring. Sprowston United completed their league campaign with a 4-1 home win against Wensum Helles and Felthorpe pipped Salhouse 2-1 thanks to goals from Mark Bale and Toby Hutchins.
